Chris Brown is making headlines again — and it’s not for hot new album releases or baby mama drama.

Just last week, a 24-year-old model accused Chris Brown, his friend and his bodyguard of raping her in a hotel room in Paris. The allegation got him and those allegedly involved detained on the charges of rape and according to NBC News, drug-related charges.

Even though the model went ahead and gave a full recap of the alleged rape incident, Chris Brown’s lawyer, Raphael Chiche, came to his rescue and the singer was freed. Apart from the statement made by the model, no other supporting evidence of the incident was found. An investigation, however, is still ongoing.

Chris Brown went on his social media accounts to defend himself. He posted a picture that boldly said “This bitch lyin‘” and captioned it with “I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE,” the post said. “FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!’

He seems to not be taking this lightly. There are rumours that Chris plans to press charges for defamation of character.

While he was in detention, the story got out and spread like wildfire. Those who already hated Chris Brown (and those sitting on the fence) found the perfect opportunity to shame him on social media.

This drama tarnished the singer’s reputation even more, as he had made headlines in 2009 for assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. Let’s not forget either, all of the other run-ins he has had with the law (felony battery charges, drug-related charges, etc).

Could this be another action done under the influence? Or is the story false and just some type of scheming done by haters.
